A brutalist prison…?

National Film Theatre, London

Some more brutalist architecture. This is the National Film Theatre on the South Bank, in London.

This view of the buildin’ really appealed to me and kind of encompasses its iconic shape.

Soon after I took this shot I was stopped by two security guards who upon seein’ me takin’ pictures asked me to sign a disclaimer. They wanted me to sign it and vouch that I wouldn’t use the shot/s for any commercial use.

They then made up some silly story about a photographer who happened to commercially sell his images, without havin’ signed a disclaimer or havin’ sought permission…I then put an end to their farce tellin’ them to leave me alone, at which point they did nothin’ – only to enforce their point about the photographer havin’ been taken to court blah blah blah…

I carried on takin’ pictures click click click…
